The British Columbia Minor Baseball Association ("BCMBA", "we", "us", or "our") operates the BCMBA Rules mobile application (the "App") available on iOS, Android, and as a Progressive Web App (PWA) at rules.bcmba.org.

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains that we do not collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information (PII) from users of our App.

2. Data Collection and Use

2.1 Personal Data

We do not collect any personal data. You are not required to create an account, log in, or provide your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal information to use the App.

2.2 Usage Data (Non-Personal)

We may collect anonymous, non-personal usage data to help us improve the App's functionality and user experience. This data does not identify you personally.

Google Tag Manager (GTM): We use Google Tag Manager to manage website tags. GTM itself does not collect personal data but triggers other tags that may collect data. We use this strictly for anonymous aggregate data (e.g., "How many users viewed the Pitching Rules section?").
Hosting Logs (AWS): Our App and website content are hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Like most internet services, AWS standard server logs may collect your IP address, browser type, and access times for security and performance monitoring purposes. This data is not linked to any personal user profile.

The App uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify your device for the purpose of functionality or analytics.

This data is stored solely on your device. We do not have access to this data, and it is never transmitted to our servers.

We value your trust in using the App. Since we do not collect personal information, there is no risk of your personal data being breached from our databases. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of the transmission layer (e.g., your connection to AWS).

Our App allows for the viewing of baseball rules and is safe for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
